Ingrams: A Brief History

When the Ingram Brothers began clockmaking in the 1800s, little did they know how highly their craftmanship would be valued almost two centuries later.

As Australia's oldest clock manufacturer, Ingrams Clocks represents a continuing and progressive evolution in the timeless art of clockmaking.

Today, not only are we still restoring the grandfather clocks and antique clock towers that would have been familiar to the original Ingram Brothers, but we're also manufacturing highly sophisticated time systems for military and industrial use.

We're also constantly developing new state-of-the-art equipment to suit the harshest of Australian climates, from Mt Buller in the Victorian snowfields to Darwin up north.
